Dropped mine into Elms this morning and they've kindly provided this actual car as a loaner...

After CSL, it feels like I'm wafting around in a Bentley !

Thought GT was a bit of a pup, but the shape does grow on you...although the three quarter view from rear is still awkward.

But what I can't believe is the a amount of tech on these cars now. This is a base model, but I'm assuming heavily optioned. It beeps and bongs, warnings for this and that and the amount of tech in I drive should be able to trace MH 370. Too much choice !

Enjoying the experience and the diesel engines seem excellent, but it makes me appreciate the simplicity of the CSL !

Getting old obviously!

That's what they've promised me as a loaner for next month when mine are both in. Make sure you look after it :hahaha:

Couldn't wait to get back into Cesil after being loaned a 1, 3 & 5 series diesel on different occasions. The extra mpg did not make up for the boredom and as for toys you can keep them.

Hope nothing serious with yours

Nowt serious thanks, Inspection 1, annual health check and a couple of trim bits.

Will have had for 5 years in May so this is a TLC year - so wheels, bumper, flippers, steering wheel and maybe front end respray to come in next few months.

Sorry me Old mate ;) but it's not base model (that would be an ES/SE if they still make them) Sport is second down from the top of the range, M Sport being "Da Daddy" , it'll never do the claimed 57 MPG from the Ad if you drive it normally in the "Real World" and I'm sorry but it's still FUGLY as Sin and a deserved candidate for the "KIA" badge, just like it's future FUGLY FWD sibling, the 2 Series GT http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11890 or what ever BMW are going to call it. YUCK :smt078

Yeah, meant a lot of kit bud for "just" a 320 as opposed to 330 or 335 or whatever high end stuff is. Just did Cambridge to Shropshire and back to LDN and still have more than half a tank ! 48mpg with all sport stuff turned on ! Impressed though yes, still fugly, but my fugly for a week :)

The 2ltr diesel combined with the 8speed auto is a good all round package good on fuel and not too slow for a everyday car just look at how well the 5series touring did last year fully loaded keeping up with you guys 😊

That's because they were all driving the slower ones. The SB cesils came along later.

Emma phoned to say BMW UK want to swap me out of my long term 320d coupe and into a 320d Granturismo. Clearly not selling well then.
