Now we are well into 2009, what are your plans for your CSL this year?
I want some 10mm spacers for the rear (the fronts are already on 10mm spacers). Any recommendations on where to get some?
I also plan to use 2009 to see how many track days I get in, to see if a suspension upgrade for 2010 is worthwhile.
And apart from some possible styling changes, that its for this year for me.

New colour wrap, new colour wheels, new engine, new manifold... should be done by mid/late March but car keeps getting pushed to back of queue as racecar taking priority.
Then... well it will still be my road slag and used predominantly to get me to/from race weekends.

Plans for 2009:
2 or 3 trips to 'Ring. Trying to cut down on the usual 5+ trips over because planning a proper season karting this year.
1 Spa trip booked.
Annual Euro road trip with friends - not sure on destination yet but seriously tempted by Corsica (can anyone guess the inspiration for this) and Italy.
3ish UK trackdays. Again, trying desperately hard to keep the number down so I don't end up divorced!
Geometry check an set up before first trackday.
May consider Intrax but very happy with std suspension at the mo.
May consider diff ratio change but probably 3.9 instead of 4.1.
Paint spare wheels alternative colour, maybe some shade of black.
Sort stone chips.
Professional detail and paint correction.
Paint protection shields fitted.
Loose some weight - me and the CSL!

Very nice, but the glare/reflections you will get in your rear view mirror will get right on your tits!!
I would get it sprayed with a matt laquer or at least a satin one, can be properly distracting with it in gloss.
Yes very true Nick had the same problem with my Evo! :banghead:

Hey my old dear is a single seater racing champion I let you know....
The standard brakes are crap with fast road driving, i would never go on track with them!
Andyk
11-02-2009, 11:26 PM
I did Goodwood with them and yes I'm not the best driver in the world and I can def see why owners upgrade them, but I didn't think they where as bad as made out....I had upgraded pads but thats it. As I do not do much more than two track days a year AP's are not worth the cost for me to be honest as for road driving I do not have a problem with the standard discs......In fact Simpsons said the discs are fine for what I do and just need to upgrade hoses/pads.fluids which is what I'm doing.
