Thats not good news sorry to hear that.

Would do my bloody noodle in having it sitting there with no eta for that amount of time, suppose as they get older and older this is going to be potentially an ongoing issue when and if a car needs work, and the supply is not there :mad:

+1 ... while I admire Billy's patience this has now become a bit of a bad joke :banghead:
How can BMW parts be allowed to run out of S54 engines while still happily taking Warranty money from their customers for, wait for it ... replacement engines.
E46 CSLs may be all over 10 years old but the last E46 M3 were registered on 55 / 06 plate.
Why don't they pull their finger out and just build a new engine for Billy instead of making him wait indefinitely. Surely they haven't lost their S54 engine block castings and iron metal is not exactly in short supply :smt017

Got a loan car but now on month 8 its getting boring.

If they put me in a new m3 or 1M I would of probably of bought one.

I have asked for a better loan car but cannot get a upgrade even for a weekend :)

I have been promised the engine will be leaving Munich on the 14th March, then a couple of days to BMW.

So gone and got new cups, kick plates, badges etc ready for the return.
