No surprises

My work mates can't believe I haven't watched it for nearly a decade. Recycled, Regurgitated rubbish.

It's the same old crap every series.

Yep. 5th Gear is much more like it. Anyone see the new series this week? Now that's entertaining. :smokin:

Yeah, the Agera R... I don't know hey, i did hear a rumour that there was a fall out between top gear and Christian Von. Something about the ccx could beat the Huayra with the semi slick tyres they used on their lap.

Tried watching last night caught the bit where Clarkson could not drive BMW in a straight line, just confirmed how sh1t the programme is waste of TV License money.

I watched it, Top Gear US has been dropped (someone saw sense).
Although the test on the Porsche 918 was interesting, but back to the silly stuff next week, another road trip this time to Burma to build a bridge over the River Kwai, in 2nd hand trucks, at our expense!

I'm sure that's been done before, just not by 3 numpties with a film crew?

Why couldn't they try building it in Somerset where it looks as though they could do with one. :banghead:

You may not like TG, but it's hardly being done "at our expense". It makes a massive profit from worldwide syndication, so if anything, it's subsidising the license fee so you can watch Bargain Hunt on the cheap !

I agree,

I find it still entertaining but it's just a bit repetitive, lacks new ideas and planning, but I guess Clarkson has a formula and is just milking it while he can (must have rent him an absolute fortune)

Wife read that Top Gear is now crap so she has taken an immediate dislike to it (Daily Mail has a lot to answer for) however is still tune in.

I personally think it just lasts a bit of credibility and seriousness on some of the proper comparison tests. Throws entertainment in e way of facts occassionally.

BUT I WANT A PETITION TO GET CSL ON DRY LAP OF TG TRACK :)

Apart from Hammond's constant squawking and the obvious staged dialogue, last night 's episode was an improvement.

When I watch TG I feel a sense of sadness when I see Clarkson as we are aging with him. Similar to Hammond when he gets a closeup shot.

Yes they do and it's a delimited!
Better be quick before they sell it off, like all the others they were allocated :-D
