Hi FMC,
That car was discussed sometime back in the following 2 threads
http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7496&highlight=vu04

There is also a nice SG for sale in the for sale section.
:-D

Well spotted Adem, it's only £15,700 dead? Someones put it on the transplant list, bit of paint and filler will have it sorted and up for sale in no time, buyer beware!
That has to be a 'Cat D' - One to watch out for :( Duly Noted!

We should run a log of found damaged csl so people know which cars have bad shunts

Not a 'bad' buy for parts maybe...
Then again, 2 of the most desirable parts, Bumper and Airbox look like they're in sh/te!!

Not so cheap when you consider the Parts will cost 10K to rebuild it and no amount of fettling will remove the 'Cat C' or 'D' from the log book!
Which equates to approx a third of its potential resale value! The numbers just don't stack up! :(

Have you made a note of the build number Neil ? You can wipe that one off the list

agreed. a new airbox is going to cost 4k a best from BMW then the front bumper , if you can get one. and the other bits.
unless you go for Geoff steele air box with M power sticker, GRP front bumper and bonnet which would be a lot cheaper to fix but not OEM. hope that no one would spot it but the reg plate is out there now
that should have been sold for 10k tops.

New airbox - £4k, New bumper - £3k, the rest - £lots of k - makes a few days with CAT learning how to drive a 355 bhp rear-wheel drive jellope seem . . . . priceless

Being a cat D (says cat D in the description) surely it'll only be worth £20k repaired..?? Unless someone's hoping no one will check before buying (stick a cheap private plate on to "hide" it)...
