View Full Version : CSL rear exhaust section, (Ok then , the backbox )

I know the exhaust "system" on the csl is lighter/thinner walled than a normal M3, but is this the entire system including the backbox, or is this part the same one as fitted to a normal M3??

i know they are different cos when u take it off it has a green csl stamp on it ,i am told it is lighter than standard m3 ,but still bloody heavy .when they come up on ebay they make more money than standard m3 too

Yea as above the exhaust is different to the normal M3!
Lighter, the normal M3 one must very heavey! :119:

You can actually gut the inside of those back boxes and lose about 40% of the weight ... apparently fairly loud after that though.

Anyone know if they flow differently from each other?

I was thinking abut buying a normal M3 one for trackdays etc. just incase the one i have turns out to be too loud :moan:

I have the full Miltek with Induction flap removed and it's fine at the track days i have done so far. :-D
