Just looking at the price of the genuine discs/pads on ebay I'd expect £700 fitted at a dealer minimum :119::119:

Seems a lot of money to me for standard stuff that after a few miles and roundabouts the brakes fail.

That's why I went the KSport route....

Is Hull still best palce to buy the standard stuff ?

Been quoted by my local dealer :

£120.53 for the pads

£218 EACH for the discs

Total of £556.53 + I need to drive 50 miles round trip to collect

Hull are at £536 posted

Or would it be better to just buy the genuine discs & source some cheaper ( better ? ) pads ?

Try Elms Cambs and they should give you the CSLReg discount.

To be fair Craig it's the OEM pads that fail ;) the OEM discs are fine

Spoke to Elms & they were really helpful :) Gave me a special CSL owners price  , and were then fair enough to tell me postage would be a killer, but go and speak to your local dealers and they should price match .. which they did

So , huge thanks to Elms who helped and even talked themselves out of a sale ... I know where my car will going back to for its next service :smokin:

Now to start stripping the old stuff off
