I'll post up some pics of my efforts so far. I'm doing a general refresh and trying to solve most common M3 associated problems.

Renewed the gearbox oil. Renewed the diff oil and added reline friction modifier . Oil service at BMW. New Bosch headlight lens are on order. Possibly a little wheel refurb before my set of Michelin cups are fitted.

I've renewed the Constant Pressure Valve O ring as the old one was leaking engine oil.

The front and rear Anti roll bars were getting in a poor state. So I've stripped them back to bare metal and send them off for powder coating.

I'll reinstall them with power flex bushes, new front drop links, new rear stabiliser links with trick polybush inserts.

I fitted a full AP brake setup running std ds2500 pads and ATE blue racing brake fluid

I've swapped the steering knuckle joint as there was a little play in the steering about dead centre. Once removed you couldn't tell or see any play. But put it in a vice a use some leverage the play was massive. £56.67 from dealer part no.32306761571 and bolts *2 £1.88 32306778609

The prop shaft guilbo was cracked and worn. So I'm replacing it.

The front headlight level assembly had corroded and snapped. So I've bought a new one £42

New air filter ITG type

You've been busy! If a job worth doing blah, blah.
However a word of caution, Ditch the pads, they'll crap up you newly refurbished wheels, unless you wash them each time you use the car.
RS29's are a much more wheel friendly pad as they generate far less carbon deposits.:-D

Good call Neil. I think I will go RS29's eventually. Can't justify binning them though. Once a track day is booked I'm sure I'll be ordering some pagid's

The anti roll bats took about 6 hours to strip . They were quite corroded around the bush areas. This in turn had pitted the OE bushes.

I've also stripped back the rear under 'V' brace to get coated too. I thought about going for red anti bars but chickened out and went for gloss black.

This. Awful pads and they wrecked my freshly refurbed front wheels within 100 miles. I should've known better :banghead:

The fact that the ITG logo is sprayed on upside down REALLY annoys me :moan: :hahaha:.

These are my new Lemforder rear sway bar links. I've then pressed the original sqidgy rubber out and replaced with super pro poly bushs.
Next pic is rear ARB freshly powder coated ready it to fit.
The front ARB and rear brace were coated too. I've fitted new Lemforder front drop links too.

The rear headlight leveling system of arms and ball joints had seized and are also being replaced. Luckily the sensor is working correctly.

Did you mark the propshaft before splitting, Ive seen loads have vibration issues, as they are balanced. If fitted back incorrectly they can vibrate.

Yes I've marked the prop before splitting it. I've read up on it and it's only the centre of the prop that needs marking. The Guilbo end is not balanced to suit.

Waiting on some more parts to arrive now. I might replace the track rods and ends as well. May as well as it's going to need a geo.
