:banghead: Its always good to know your pride and joy has been fastidiously looked after and has always had careful owners who would rather die than use launch control.
Fookin' marvellous :moan:

Ha, ha, don't take it to heart Rick, it's probably a comparative 0-60mph test by PH when they had their hands on it!

Rick,
Don't fret, launch control wasn't used - it's much worse, it is one of the V-Max events at Bruntingthorpe where the car is maxed out top speed wise :bigcry: :blalalala: :hahaha:.

Oh well that's fookin' ok then ! ! !
It's like finding out your wife wasn't the "exotic dancer" she said she was but was in fact a pint pot stripper - then the fookin' helpful twins, Neil and Mike, turn up to confirm she was indeed a stripper - but was actually called Terry the disreputable tranny from Trafford who saved up enough tips to go the full hog !!!!
(Please note - Terry is a fictional character dreamed up for the sake of banter and any resemblance to persons alive or dead is purely co-incidental).

Joking aside, Vmax looks a pretty cool event - I'd like to have a go. I assume the speeds are not "on the clock" but more accurately assessed (if anyone knows)? Anyone been?
Does anyone know who owned the car at this point? The pic was posted 2008. I did a bit of investigation but came up blank.
Possibly it's Billy83?

Haha, that's me on Page 7, FEZ.
Go Pro is attached to the front bumper so must have been a trackday at the Ring.

Confirmed as the Billy83 car, here it is "launching":

. . . and being driven enthusiastically at Knockhill:

It hit an official 170mph at Vmax and was dyno-tested by Thorney's showing 373 bhp at the flywheel in standard form @ 7800 rpm.
