The right time of year for a euro break , could be tempted but then that does not take much, might give you chaps a look at Bedford if weather is ok

That's alright then if there's garages. I'm gonna decide nearer the time and see what the weather is doing…I like to have the option of Eagle F1's or Cups but means putting the roof rack on and it's graft and hassle at the end of the day...

If its cold (sub 5deg) or standing water then I agree, otherwise it's just all about driving style. If you can push the car to generate some heat in the tyres then Cups are fine in the wet and gripper than road tyres for sure. I remember a very wet day at Snett with Bealo chasing me around, him on Falmens and me on Cups and I was gettings eom good heat. Same at Silverstone last year.
Temptation in the wet is to bak off then the Cups never get warm enough.

I'd heard some pretty poor reports about Bedford (flat and boring), but i found it really good, technical in places, with balls of steel required to find the right braking points (back straight into the chicane for one).....I can see how it could become boring, but i'll defo be going back to Smash Shimmys best time :smokin:

Very Interesting Lawsy!!....... i had no end of issues with overheating due to the amount of lateral movement in the side walls. You sure you just weren't fast enough back then  ..... also, i suppose it depends which tyre your using as well, from what i understand, Cups do have a much stronger sidewall than the Direzzas, and probably 888's, AO48's too, but i'm not convinced.......I run 10's on the front and 11's on the back, and i'm sticking to it.....PLANTED!!!

I messaged Rimstock a week ago about the price of 9.5j team dynamic 1.2's but have had no reply…
Getting turner motorsport limiter bushes and putting new bushes in the rear trailing arms and maybe subframe aswell although the bushes for the subframe are £300 from america!
I think spring rates play a large part it's just finding out what I need that's the issue, I know Schirmer swap them out on the KW's as they did on Al's car & Ali M, but I don't know if he just puts the same ones in every M3!

It used to be the case they didn't make 9.5j PR 1.2 hence why the guys run 9.0j......it may have changed

Cool let me know, can't commit to anything though that's the problem, was going to address wheels last as everything else is cheaper :bigcry:
