ive got a copy of the cleaning instructions from my local bmw guy if anyone wants them.bmw clean and refit as far as im aware ,as long as its the modified filter fitted :thumbs:

please post or send a copy as it seems i am the only person today on CSL REG who was not under their bonnet trying to find the air filter
i need to do it next weekend!

called and was told it is deffo CSL one, soon find out when it's delivered and if its wrong it'll be getting sent back :wink:

I think I will go for the ITG one myself, but let us know how you get on with the Pipercross!

I think I checked there and you pay for postage, Thorney you don't, AFAIK! :whistle:

Is somebody tested the pipercross??? Cheap price...for what quality?

Also had a Pipercross on a Lotus.....again no issues but ITG have a better reputation for quality.

no supplier didnt have stock, I went with John and the ITG filter, couldnt see any difference and now swap between OEM and ITG, I just remove the ITG and clean and then swap every few months with an OEM filter.
Makes it easier to strip the car and put back without having to leave it stripped whilst I clean the ITG

Thanks for the reply. Im gona go ahead and order a pipercross one just to experiment. It'll be worth checking it out and see how the filteration is on it compared to the BMC
