In the market for a new lid, I have a open face for instructing (licensed ARDS trackday Instructer )
But on track I prefer full face helmets
Anyone have a simpson or opinion on them ? http://www.jegs.com/photos/800/850/850-diamondbackduo_big.jpg

Designed for drag racing does not have very good peripheral vision so useless for motorbikes.also they don't have the gold stamp so should not be used for trackdays.think it was to do with them refusing to pay for testing because they already passed the states tests.Great looking things though.:smokin:

Hahahaha...Very good Shimmy......They look good mind you.....The white doesn't look like it would give much vision all around...

Bought a Shark Vision-R this year (for the bike) which has a nice big opening - used it at Donington & Brands, found it very restrictive and am looking for an open face atm...

The Bell Sport 5 is a fantastic helmet. It is a car Racing helmet (FIA 8858 & Snell SA2010 Approved, better for roll cage impact i think ) . Didn't feel heavy at all and felt very comfortable too. As good as much more expensive ones. Only in white i think but at £340 including VAT for £100 you can have it painted :)
