Excellent!
We're booked into Bleu Nord for the while thing, and it's not too far from Roscoff to Le Mans for us, but just enough to stretch the legs of the old E30s. Can't wait for it now

Good stuff Alex! :)
I've not been to it before, but have heard good things, and as it's only every 2 years we decided to get it booked and head down to it for the summer road-trip next year
Great!
I've been there in 2012 and it's definitely worth it!

Will probably have a few questions for you guys closer to the event when trying to get everything organised

I'll be there in my 1973 Porsche ... along with a lot of others from DDK classic Porsche club :-D
Been going since 2004 and love it ... although its getting more & more expensive & this year our usual campsite of Karting Nord is now no more :crybaby:
We usually make a longer trip & take the scenic route stopping overnight somewhere on the way there & back

.. we should be on Bleu Nord too , you won't be able to miss our group so come & say hello

I cocked up the hotel bookings for a large group of travelling down .. so we will now be arriving on Friday lunch time.
My usual plan is to get up early on Friday morning & drive as much of the circuit as possible before they close the roads at lunch time

That's a pity, but thanks for the tip. Will try and get out there for a drive about if I can on the Friday morning then
I'm heading down with Goeff aka Leins in this......

Do many normally hang around until the Monday morning then? Only reason I ask is the tickets for camping are for Thursday - Sunday, but presume they don't kick you out straight after the race?

had 2 years of CLM where I stayed Sun night ( this was the early days though) , its quiet as the circuit empties so quickly and then there is nothing else to do.
Last few years we now head off Sunday & get a hotel in Rouen, have a nice evening out followed by a comfy bed to catch up on some sleep:thumbs:
For me CLM is as much about the road trip on the back roads as it is about the event itself

Thanks. Yep, that could be the thing to do after three nights sleeping on the ground

We rent a house but as you say the campers have to go on the Sunday after the race.

I'm disappointed he doesn't bring his 924 CGTS :(
Just seen some of your pics from the previous one Marc, and they look great. Seems to a proper range of cars turning up at it

The E30 is almost ready for this now after its recent work - suspension refresh, new exhaust back box, headlights, clutch, service. Can't wait now!

Leins, Bart, how's it going?
I'd love to come to this just for the rip, and not bring a car... again. But no, I leave for Brazil the last weekend in June so it's a no go for me. Balls. Have a good one, need to get a run down your way for beer this summer.

Who's bringing the Cointreau? (sp!)

All good thanks Baz, pity you're not about for it, especially as we're all straight down to Blarney the weekend after we get back from France for another sesh
Definitely have to organise something down here for one of the weekends before the summer is out though, give the CSLs a run-out and then hit town
As for the Cointreau, that's the main reason we're all going to France ;)

I'll be there as well and we're staying at Château de Dobert about thirty miles from the circuit. I'll be travelling down via the euro tunnel in my CSL with a 7.2 GT3 Clubsport and 430 Scuderia.
