good morning gents
after a trackday recently my standard front discs are making a rather loud wurrrring noise when the brakes are applied,
there is no shaking through the wheel and they still have good performance but just are a bit on the loud side,
just befor the track day i had RS29's fitted and did the bedding in process to the best of my abilitly
i guess my question is are the discs buggered or do they just have deposits on them causing the noise ?

Is it like a 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' noise as you go on the eccles?
Difficult to say without hearing it but I think if there was a problem you'd feel the vibration.
If it is the 'zzzzzzzzzzzzz' it's ok and one of the great noises of motorsport! This video picks it up well 46s ish. (Not me driving btw)

Cheers for the input gents
The noise is kind of similar I the vid but I should Imagine he's running APs
Do you think if I put the standard pads back on for the roar the noise will go away ?
Is it the pads or the discs making the noise ?

Pads
I used to swap back to ds2500 between trackdays, no issues just don't get then red hot

Could be the anti rattle clip sraping on the disc, I had that and ended up having to grind a wee bit out with the dremmel.
