Not actually posted any pics of the C63 yet, was doing some pics for the MB boys who wanted to see the 63 with new winters on against the 12mm spacers I've put on all round ( thanks for sorting shane )

She's a bit tight on the rears with the spacers on as I've gone up from 255/30 to 265/30.

Sensible 4 door family motoring for the winter now wearing Vredstein Wintrac Extremes :smt047 :-D

Very nice mate! A friend has not long got rid of his. I kept on at him about going decat for the beast but his balls shrunk at the thought!
Be careful not to destroy the nobblies, they have a tendency to eat the things! :smokin:

I quite fancy getting into a C63 but I hear stories that the gearbox isn't up to the DCT and I have to say that the M3 is the best all rounder I've ever owned. If my local merc dealer wasn't full of pricks! I'd blag a good test drive to see what all the fuss is about :)

Night and day .. Not even really v cold but I've actually got traction back again .. Will pull again without the tail wiggling and feels planted.

And as a bonus I guess I may be able to function should the white stuff arrives.

Been more noticeable on this car than the CSL .. GT3 etc and all been dailys and all weather .. Lost traction on the summers as soon as weather dipped.

The facelift one runs a different box terry. 2011 onwards. Much quicker change as they have ditched the torque converter.

It's still no dct box, but it's very very good.

Not owned but when the CSL was in for repair years ago when the V8 was new I had a loaner for 6 months so a virtual ownership lol

Box is not a slick and as a track weapon if your timing it the m3 is better.. But and its a big but .. The C63 makes you giggle more every day is a more accomplished cruiser and is just old skool mans mans car if you know what I mean.

More smiles per miles, shouldn't make sense but just does !

good on ya daz for going winters. power is nothing without control.

how many merc drivers are going to struggle in the snow let alone not have any grip in the cold temps and stopping capability.

at least you can enjoy the car in the wet and cold without the fear of a pending incident. makes the summers last longer too.
