This plate came with my car but I have no idea what it could be worth as I am going to sell it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

You can - although this has the relevant "S54" prefix rather than something non-descript.

As always, it's worth a much as someone is willing to pay i guess.

£500 ish I guess?

not many people know what a CSL is let alone that it has an S54 engine code.

if it was M3 CSL on the other hand.....

The value of the Registration Plate, is dependent upon two factors, it's significance to either; yourself or the Car and whatever someone is prepared to pay.
In this particular instance, the 'S54' denotes the Engine Type and the CSL speaks for itself.
If it came with the car and the car is a CSL, then you got a little extra with your purchase; £1-1.5K.

I think E46 CSL went for about £2k recently (+vat/transfer costs)....

I'd bank on £750
