Blimey! 100,000 miles or 10 years is the point they do go up dramatically.

Personally i would pocket the money and save it for a rainy day. I haven't had warranty on mine for over 2 years and nothing has gone wrong yet which would justify the outlay of a warranty, so I've saved over £2500. I hope it stays that way, lol! :119:

Yes hope so too for both of us and for both our m3's.
Wish I had known they would jump up at 10 years old but live and learn.:bigcry:

Has to be monthly.

What must over 60k miles be then

Has never been age dependant, only mileage.

Current rates AFAIK

Up to 60kmiles = £1120, £886 & £731 based on 0, £100 & £250 excess, a slight increase from last year.

Over 60k miles = £2,680, £2055 & £1636 based on 0, £100 & £250 excess = those rates seem to have gone up a lot :(

Happy to know that after a year I've still got the ££ in a slush fund. I can see pretty soon cars with warranty will be a thing of the past as they seem to be getting priced out of the market (which doesn't surprise me).

No warranty for the last 3 years myself, but you won't find me commenting on threads like this as you only end up cursing your car

Edit: Doh!!!! :banghead:

Did you previously have a policy or is this a new quote from a expired policy.

As if expired it will drop after the 1st year.

Expired one not had a warranty. For seven years. You will find its cheaper next year mate,it's because your renewing a lapsed warranty and nothing to do with our cars being 10 years old.;)

In that case what might it be the following year? (just a rough estimate)

I'm considering a warranty! :)
