Today on the way to the 'Ring stopped off at INTRAX to drop off the suspension on return to car 45 mins later it wouldn't start.
Checked battery, connections etc. but still no luck. After probably another 40 mins waiting about car suddenly decides to start.
Select neutral as normal turn key, hear faint click but that's it, starter motor not turning over.
Any thoughts does it sound like the starter motor is on its way out or anything else I am missing?
Cheers,
Grant

Maybe check connections to battery (but I presume central locking opened)

Tried a hard reset by disconnecting battery etc. all other electrics working. Parked up at the Ring after drive from Intrax, stopped car and yried to start and same again. Left it for 40 mins and started first time. :banghead:

Car has certainly had a verbal hammering today! Will see if I can find a starter motor from somewhere tomorrow.

Park on a hill until you get a new starter motor. Sounds like he starter, same symptoms I had in Italy in May. Could see the lights dimming like the starter motor was drawing the current but not turning.
I had a starter motor too but returned it to the dealer in Germany after they supplied one in Italy.
Good luck, and remember you can bump start these cars.
Just incase, across to Neutral, push or roll down previously mentioned hill before pulling over to D and she should go. Never tried it but was told by a few guys on the tour and apparently it says it in the manual too.
