Very interesting car !
The full carbon chassis (like the one in the i3) is phenomenal.
Also, it's less than 1500kg with batteries.

The i8 is a very interesting car with a lot of innovations.
It has some very interesting technologies, that will probably change dramatically the BMW cars of the future (just imagine an M3 with carbon chassis...).

It is unfair to compare it with a Ferrari 458 as it is something very different.
The tyresize says nothing to me. I don't see why this car needs to have "fat" bling tyres.
