the flappy thingy in the airbox is stuck wide open on my car....dreadful shame!!

this turned up today and I was quite surprised at the size of it all really:

so do I take the 4 bolts out and lift out the whole thing on the car currently?

not sure if I have been sent too much kit as I just expected it to be the motor on the side of the unit.

any directions or videos welcome.

Why didn't you just order the actuator motor?? Part 3 and possibly 4.

You have to remove part 1 now to change that over - i.e. unfiltered housing.

My god you bought half the airbox

Cheaper just to take out the flap....costs nothing.

i did nothing. It was previous owner as it went just before i bought it

i thought it looked like way too much gubbins

Cant you just take the motor off the new part and fit it to your airbox ?

i did think about that. Looks like a different flap n parts as in newer / updated.

might just get whole lot changed as know its all new then.
