I've been neglecting my CSL of late due to being away with work, family stuff, etc, so it was high time I showed her some attention - the first since the Homecoming Tour to Germany earlier this year!

I have recently traded my 123d daily shitter for a family car for the missus (an Audi A4 Avant 2.0T Quattro!) so that has meant that I have had to resort to using the CSL for the odd work related journey whilst i look for a 'cheap' E46 M3 daily drive.

Recently I noticed that my left front brakes were making disturbing metal grinding noises so I thought i'd best replace my brake pads ASAP - whilst in a navy dockyard car park this week!

Luckily the damage to the disc was minimal and it looks like I changed the pads in the nick of time judging by what little remained of my Pagid RS29 pads! The AP setup continues to impress me with it's ability, reliability and ease of maintenance since having them fitted to my car almost 5 years ago - they have not even been overhauled yet!

:-D

Rob is protecting the environment and the future generations, by fully using the pads :)
I am changing mine when they are below 9mm or so. I am irresponsible citizen.

Engine clean up  looks great Rob did you use any other products apart from Rubber and Vinyl care.

I used diluted Meguiars Super Degreaser sprayed onto a cloth to clean the engine bay first.

Mine are the later CP5575-1004 front kit & CP5144-1004 rear kit, bought from and fitted by Simpson Motorsport.
