I did a search and I am probably tying the wring criteria.
Can anyone please assist me in figuring out the MAP sensor.
1. Could you post a image of it
2. Where does the wire harness for the MAP sensor connect?
3. Do you know or can you help me figure out the needed part number?
Thank you in advance

Thanks cantfind1
I have the map sensor and map rail. I would like some images of the part installed and any information of how it is wired to the DME.
Anyone have that information by chance?

If you do a search I posted a photo for another member of the connector plug part number quite a while back.
Also the wiring diagram is under SSP-SP0000022670 - Intake air temperature/intake pressure sensor.

Thank you NZ. I did a search and must be using the wrong criteria. I will search you posts.
Thank you for the wire info.

The best I could find is that thread. I search for "Map sensor" and get nada. Does it have a different name?

I have the rail and sensor but not the plugs. Can't find them anywhere. Can you supply the part numbers or the thread please.

Strange ... it was 5th on the list when I did my search ...
And Because I am feeling generous today here's the wiring diagram (given you probably don't have access to an ISTA machine so you probably won't be able to pull this diagram). So don't say we aren't helpful :hahaha: And don't act like Cossack and start calling us names on the other forum ;)

hummm, I got other threads. Oh well, thank you again for the save.
ROFL yeah no name calling here. Trying to get the data needed to make things work correctly and this was the missing part. Thank you for the diagram as well, makes things go a heck of a lot faster.
I will smack Cossack around when I see him and tell him to play nice.

Hey guys, I'm an active member at M3Forum, with a particular interest in the DME side of things. Would any of you guys have a picture of the actual connector with the pins visible? BMW doesn't appear to sell it separately, and I'm hoping it can be sourced from TE connectivity
Also m3dragon here's a clearer picture of the diagram. Just 3 wires, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to add, especially since the DME box is right there
