I've just had over £5k worth of work done by them as they are only 30mins away from me. I think they are a decent lot and if you are thinking of the SB CSL that's there at the mo I had a good look round it and its lovely :)

Great bunch of chaps, James aka 'monkey' is one of our own members.
Very active within the BMW community as a whole, promoting the Club, open days, etc. Extremely knowledgeable folk particularly when it comes to the modern classics; E9 CSL, E30 M3 and with the number of M3 CSL's that have been through their hands, I suppose you could add that to the list also.

That's all good news thanks guys !!
Am just keeping them in mind as I have seen a few csl's in there garage and I'm looking to pick one up in either a couple months or may time next year. It's a fair old trek for me but by the sounds of it...worth it 👍

My CSL came from there and has carried enormous Munich Legends History throughout its entire life.
What I love despite their outstanding service, professionalism & knowledge to a vast range of models, is not only their passion for all M cars (and im sure some non-M cars too) but their small family like feel to the place.
This I think is lost in most companies I see these days as they seem to be too big and pride in workmanship can quite easily be forgotten, with of course some exceptions. Oh and not to mention they do seem to have a thing for CSLs old & current!
I think what also makes it obvious is not only do people travel the Country to them but they have customers across the entire globe requesting for cars to be shipped out to them and I see myself as being pretty fortunate I'm in the same County amongst others.
I know their cars don't hang around too long so whatever you've seen you'll have to jump on them pretty quick!

@-karbonkid, that's brilliant to hear!! Traveling does not bother me if I find the right motor. I like the idea a few ppl on here have bought cars and used them. I know what u mean about it bein like a tight family run business it's an ease when you come across that. It's half the battle when u know that the garage you buy a car from are enthusiasts.
Again thanks for all the input folks.
Btw what do you think of nick Johnson?? Heard mixed reports

I bought my SB from nick earlier this year. Was fine to deal with and I had no issues.

Munich Legends supply Top Gear with their BMW's and Jay K, has recently bought an E9 from them, so they must be doing something right.

NJ is also a member, so of course he's brilliant too!
If you ignore the Magnesium wheels and the 3.3ltr. references, he'll manage to get it right one day. :hahaha:

I bought my CSL from them as well. Found the service and level of knowledge very reassuring. Would certainly recommend them and plan to have them service my car when the time comes, even though there are more convenient options for me.
