Midnight on Wednesday my wifes waters broke at home so of to the Hospital we went...19 hours of labour later...new I should have taken a good book....we have ourselves a little baby boy. Mother and son doing well....now let the sleepless nights begin

19 hours is looooong... good to hear that they are both good and healthy!!!
Enjoy your fatherhood and make sure that you take heaps of photos and videos.... your time will really fly from now on!

Three bits of advice Glengog.....
1. Take a good book or a DS
2. Don't look down
3. If the fit 23 year old midwife asks your wife if she is wet it's not sexual.....Oh and it doesn't go down to well if mentioned to said wife in labour.

The midwife was a stunner and she also had a 20 year old South African student doctor in toe....and she was also bloody stunning so it help me through the 18 hours..........There was my wife legs ready for birth and the midwife and doctor rubbing her inner thigh and asking if she was wet.....Any other time that would def be in the wank bank. :whistle:

Yep agree when son number 1 first said Dad it was a bit of a moment....he was a real chip off the old block as at two years of age he could walk down the street and name every car parked on the road.... :thumbs:
