So parked up today at Blackgang Chine - started to walk away from the CSL when we suddenly overheard some guy say "that is a CSL and is very very rare", turned around and saw him standing and admiring the car.

Made me feel :wav::smt060:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::beer::smt055: :supz::supz:

Having not been to iow for a few years is that where the tuboggan run is...???

On the overheard bit last week my wife overheard some saying my car wasn't a real 1 because it didn't have a carbon roof, he must've forgotten his glasses poor chap lol...

They are becoming more known now, when I first got mine, people didn't have a clue that it was different to normal m3!

I had a chappy knocking on the front door to talk about the CSL within a few days of its arrival on my drive - my head immediately doubled in size :) He didn't knick it either - well he hasn't done yet anyway.

Also overheard a guy at a petrol station saying at last he'd seen one in the flesh - although he could have been talking about the Maserati soft top at the other pump - but I'm claiming it anyway.

A couple of years ago I was boring someone with the ins and outs of what a CSL was and when I said you can spot them due to the carbon fibre roof he said "Oh I thought it was a sunroof".

Most people today will probably think it is a panoramic roof :whistle:
