I've been lurking here for a while but just thought I'd start a journal to show where my car stands at the moment and how its going to transform slightly as I plan to continue making a few modifications here and there
I bought the car from someone on these forums back in 2009 and have been enjoying it ever since.
I am a huge fan of carbon fiber and when I bought the car it already had a few carbon pieces extra which always made me want to add more! I do also love the black stealth look and that will begin to show on the car!

Thanks guys! The brakes did make a massive difference!! the first time I touched the pedal after the install my head nearly hit the steering wheel haha
So unfortunately after 3 careful years of ownership and driving in central london some :moan: has managed to scratch my front bumper (probably a motorbike foot peg). I guess my plans of doing a front end re-spray and clear wrap will have to be accelerated. I just can't stand seeing marks on my car. Anyone else feel the same?
The scrape is a few mm deep hopefully the repairs wont be too difficult.

Absolutely agree with your take on damage. Gravel rash on the nose is inevitable(unless you have armourfend) but panel damage has to be repaired immediately...my OCD doesn't permit any other option.:)

Hazy and Radders are racing Britcar mainly plus some endurance stuff. They only have one E46 GTR now which was originally AlexGTT's rid M3 and then Curlys road/Race M3 and now a full on 420bhp racer.
They sold your E46M3 2 years ago to Martin Thomas (old CSL owner) down in West Country who now has sold it on to Clive (a la MX5).
I don't think Hazy and Radders have another race car but Intersport have an E92 racer that was there yesterday, plus a Gayman racer that Dunc may have a seat in this year once or twice.
I wish had the money. :bigcry:
I spent all day looking at more affordable E36M3 racers

Any updates ? Curious how those fenders and hood look ?
$w!ft
28-04-2015, 05:14 PM
Thanks Clubber for reminding me. I recently picked up the car from Simpson Motorsports and it’s looking mean!
M3-R Fenders painted in SB and fitted
Wethje carbon hood lacquered, wrapped in black and fitted
Turner motorsports limiting kit installed
Front bumper re-spray to match with new fenders
Corner weight and geometry
This might not suit some of the purists out there but the car can pretty much be taken back to standard in a single day and I like changing the look of it over time.
I believe I’m the only one on the forums to have this hood and these fenders fitted?
Will keep the all black theme for a while longer and then was thinking to bring it back closer to standard in the near future.
Let me know what you guys think. Hope the quality is decent, Iphone 6 camera.

Those were EXACTLY the wheels I had in mind .
With those wings you could easily go for a square set up of 9.5s all round with 265s front and rear - would suit the race car look :).
Suspension wise you can't go wrong with the KW Clubsport :).
More pictures please when all the above has been fitted ;).

I got the fenders from Schmiedmann, they might have different versions, take a look.

Maybe it's me that I am not so good with computers () but I find the Schmiedmann website impossible to use !
The wings I am after do exist, but I forgot where I found them.
How heavy were yours ?
