CSL is not that common as a set of initals, so the DVLA still have loads on their database for sale. I just did a quick search on the prefix style and it came back with 395 matches just on "CSL".

I have had my eye on CSL 427 for a while now.... but don't think I could warrant spending the money on it.

where are these advertised?

http://www.carreg.co.uk/

and

http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/

Its the credit crunch though, so make an offer. Most of these sites (not DVLA) that sell plates are acting for private sellers, rather than actually owning the plates themselves. So no harm in making an offer!

Slightly off topic, but there's two chicks (sisters) near me that have just passed their driving tests - one got a brand new Corsa VXR, not sure what the other got.

Plates are:
57EF (Stef) = £xx,xxx?
R91 (Rach, born '91) = £26,450 - still on Newreg :119:

Who'd have thought there'd be so much money in selling fish n chips!

M3 CSL is for sale mate - £22,995 on Newreg.

Positive he bought it last year for ~£13k after being for sale forever at £15k.

Personally it does nothing for me, Id rather spend that (or less probably) on my initials and one digit.

Rip off...they will never get that for them.

Last year I advertised H13 CSL for £350...no takers...dropped it down to £200...no takers...ended up swapping them for a pair of slightly worn front discs.....
