dave at Opentrack sent me thistoday as a summary as to where we are:

If you disagree please email or phone Dave directly and chase him up.

hasib : not had a reply from him as to what he wants to do with the funds*
duncan : as above
jim featherstone : as above
sam tate : as above

these are the only ones i have outstanding,some chaps are still seeing if they can do Donny etc due to work etc, however some one has paid and put no ref:-( just £250 into the account on 10th April

I was told it would be transferred by now but I understand Dave doesn't do the track day thing as his main job. So I'm bearing with it.
I know it must have been a pain for him, but then we all paid thinking we would do it. It's all dragging on a bit.

Dave returned one email when he got back from his holidays staying he would pay, that is two weeks ago and nothing.
I know he has another job apart from the track day thing but IMO he's taking the piss now.
As I said before, I'm sure it's been a pain for him but it was for us, we shouldn't need to chase, which I have been doing.

Thanks Ian, I've pm'd Billy and Shimmy, Billy is going to try, it shouldn't need this. I holding off going on his Facebook page, for now.

He is still taking monies for track days so I assume he may have spent some of our funds for other tack day deposits, but that's only my opinion. I'm sure he doesn't need any bad press.

I think most have been sorted, but from the feedback it wasn't easy. Not the best advert for his company and on a site with regular track users.

If I was to guess I'd say he a little disorganised and probably managing very low turnover as well as its not a big company. Never easy if you get money in and have to give it back out again.

Dave emailed me the week prior to the trip asking what id like to do i.e. refund or Donny track day.
I opted for the refund and it was done within 15min.

No issues at all from my side.

Hope you all get it sorted soon.

Agreed Shimmy and he was only trying to assist, but even when trying to take up Donny there was no communication, that's why without confirmation I booked work in. Hopefully it will be sorted sooner rather than later. I see he is taking bookings for Snet so fingers crossed he can pass some of their cash our way if he used ours for something else.

I know Dave would rather you do a track day and make use of the money that way rather than give it back, Smac and Brett I have spoke to him last week :)

I might be seeing him later as dropping printing off to him.

He is probably waiting for dosh to come in then pay it out.

Dunc, Billy is trying his best to get Dave to respond to our refund situation. I'm sure we will get some info & money soon. It looks like our pot was used to fund other track days so now he needs to find some funds out of his future track days before Bounce and the St Ives mafia going knocking on his door.

I am the same, need to get the money in to help the raving fund.

I prefer a more direct approach. I have replied to the open track email and sent Dave another email to his address. This is getting to the point where I will be travelling down to Cambridge. If I wasnt going out on Sunday I would be going to Snetterton to collect.

Piss poor service I have to say...

I asked Dave for a refund soon after the event was cancelled & to be fair the money appeared in my account after a little email pressure several weeks later. I guess part of the reason for delays is that Dave organises track days in his spare time as he also has a regular 9-5 job to do.

That said, customers should not have to continually pester a TDO to get their money & to simply not reply or ignore people's emails is not acceptable. At the end of the day, he has people's monies & should do his utmost to return all monies owed promptly - simples!

i just texted dave and he texted back "last one was paid yesterday (steve)" so check if youve been paid and then get back onto him asap if you havent (keeping records is NOT his strong point )
