Very frustrating situation, rang up on Friday afternoon to notify them i was planning on doing a track day session at Spa on Monday. Everything fine, emailed through the certificate for the trackday cover etc.

Then, a few mins later, sent another email saying that "they couldn't process the request because they hadn't had my prop for back (whatever that is!?!) and they didn't have a phone number to contact me on (they've never asked for one!).

I received this at 16:59, so a rang straight back and by the time I got through to the second option the phone message switched to "I'm sorry but our offices are now closed". So they are closed until Monday morning now.

Not sure what to do... if I could give them a call at 9am Monday (they will have the mentioned forms by then) and they can put the cover in place then I'll leave for spa tonight... just worried that they'll say despite having issued a certificate on Friday, they can't re arrange cover on the same day as the trackday.

Anyone been in the same boat?

Cheers,
James

Been there done that. Self insurance .... the cheaper option, perhaps .

It will concentrate the mind if nothing else.

Just enjoy the day and put it down to experience.

CCI require 48 hours notice before a track day - I've fallen foul of that one before... :banghead:
