Possibly the worst advert yet for a CSL!! But low mileage so could be a good buy for someone!

Is it possible to give any less information when selling a car? :hahaha:

Beat me to it - that's new on last night/this morning, illustrating how not to clean round the boot badge - with a tooth brush. :bigcry: only ever use a Soft bristle bush.
Lawnmower stripes on seats and carpeted areas? Must have taken forever, how did he get a flymo in there? :hahaha:
Looks a nice example despite the poor add, with a better add poss £1K more? I'd prefer the poor add! Leaves lots of questions to be asked! After market radio?

Does look like a lovely example however I would want the original CD player with the car though. Those stripes are a bit bizarre though, seems to be the detailing thing though doesn't it?

The thing with all these cars I see with "just detailed" I always think to myself "what was it like before hand"...??? My car is always kept in pristine condition so imo wouldn't need to be fully detailed before selling.
Just my opinion...
But I do agree the advert is very vague :banghead: looks more like a main dealer has written it.

My car's done twice a year by Perfection Valet, why wouldn't you want a professional to do it for you, other than cost? They do a much better job than I could, plus I haven't got the time. Detailing doesn't just mean transforming a shit car into a nice one.
That car had a 'concours' prep as I saw the twitter feed about it a month ago when it was being done. Very nice condition before, now truly stunning. Only the advert lets it down.
This is my car right now

More pics of a 'detailed' car (this was valet only so no machining as that was done last year).

But it can...... I remember seeing a detailing thread on a dark blue E39 M5, before it was done it was absolutely hanging and you would have paid several thousands less for it and after looked absolutely stunning and not a true reflection of the car it was.
Plus I'm not really into the detailing (too much like concourse for my liking), I just like my car clean.

Plus there's a certain sense of achievement doing it yourself and keeping your pride & joy clean throughout, making it easier to stay on top of it and enjoy it more.
It's too easy to just pay a man. :hahaha:
