If you don't mind waiting for a week, I was going to put together a DVD of my/James photos from the trip for James & Munich Legends.

You're most welcome to have a copy...

I've just downloaded the BMW tv vid as well...

No problems, when I've got everything together (need to download some good alpine videos) I might as well do a load of them...
Should be back next week sometime - might as well do it at work(hq) ;-)

LOL you're right there Monkey Man ;)

Collation has begun!

...and work is REALLY shit (200 redundancies - but all managers - not too much sympathy, our management tree is inverted for sure), which is good, cos' this is far more interesting

Hi all,

Basic idea/design sorted.

I have so far got mine/Monkeys photos and as many off the Tour Threads as I could extract by script!

If the forum members are ok with this I'll include them on disc too?

Chris-csl - sounds good, how many are we talking about, size/qty wise?

I'll PM everyone who's posted flickr(etc) accounts on here and see if they're willing to send me a cd/dvd of their photos.

Failing that I could always provide an html page containing links to all flickr(etc) accounts for ease of finding them?

Getting there :)

Hi John,

Great idea!

I would be interested too, but if it's an html link with all the files, it's fine too.

Best,

Alex

Good work

If you choose the 'all sizes' option on my Flickr photos, you should be able to save a high res copy of the ones you need.

I've got a tonne more also, but we now have a lot of photos !

Also have a nice tunnel, blip and redline vid near Berchtesgaden.

Cheers, got yours :-D

Just sending out some PM's now out of courtesy to all those kind enough to 'allow' copying - all pics will be subtly watermarked "www.cslregister.com"anyway:
Interim small Screengrabs:
8580
8581
8582
8583
8584
Interface allows searching and slideshows etc...
(...it's a java tool called jAlbum btw)

Looking good John :smokin:

Just an idea and very much in keeping with the whole CSL 10 year Anniversary trip Ethos of raising money for our chosen charities while having fun, in memory of Andy Pressland (RIP) (whom some of you guys didn't get the pleasure of meeting, before his untimely passing) ... this would be an ideal opportunity to continue with our charitable efforts and raise even more cash for our chosen charities by setting a nominal fee for these DVDs at say £10 - £15 per unit (we can collectively determine the exact figure) for these "Limited Edition" maybe just 422 :) CSL Anniversary DVDs, only SOLD to CSL owners ;) with a 100% surcharge for none CSL owners ;) ... although Northern Jim would only incur a 33.3% surcharge as he's almost there with his CS no L  :hahaha:

Your thoughts Gents ???

No pressure then, better do a good job now :banghead:

PS: Thank you for all your replies to the rather formal 'permissions' thing, I won't trouble all of you with a reply...

Re: the video
Sounds good, is it on youtube or the like?
...or can you share a dropbox link with me...

btw: I've currently downloaded about 8 videos from links on this thread.

I've also started a separate section/page for a couple of non-trip csl specific videos such as the various Top Gear Isle of Man tests.
Undecided whether to include these yet, but might be a nice place to source all this csl goodness :smt055

I think, start a new thread and see how many people want a DVD. If its a huge amount, which it will be then we can use a company to replicate them.

Saves you burning 422 dvds

I also need anyone who has/wants to post me Hi Res images for inclusion in this album to PM me for an address as I'm ready to go with a proof run now.

I think it'a a good idea to have other CSL-related videos like the Top Gear episode in the Isle of Man.

Wasn't Michelin supposed to make a "Road Stories" video as well?
