Folks, just a quick note of appreciation for everyone involved in organising the whole trip, especially Shimmy and Roland. It was an absolute blast from start to finish (which was actually yesterday in the early hours), and great meeting everyone

But on a more serious note, can someone explain how I ended up with so many new keyrings? :smt102 I have a feeling I did a swap for a couple of Jamiroquai CDs and a bottle of Cointreau at some stage! ;)

As I said great meet I think we nearly had a drink with everybody, don't know where your key ring are, but both your JK CDs were thrown out the window at about 140 and someone robbed the Cointreau :bigcry:

Good to meet you all lads, the 'Cointreau' didn't sit around long but the coffees were nice while they lasted.

You were not looking well a couple of days I have to say, I felt like complete shit on the Monday night after finding out they couldn't find me a starter and even a beer wouldn't straighten me out.

Sorted now though, car going in tomorrow for a health check after it's miles and visit to the Italian Dealer.

Don't be strangers troops.

Unfortunately we had to take over driving duties at one point while he had a sleep. We allowed him 20 minutes ;)

Nice meeting you guys! :)

Will be keeping an eye on Instagram Alex

Glad you got it sorted Barry, but bet you were gutted handing back the diesely Alfa. Our plans to take it handy for the rest of the trip lasted until Cologne, where we discovered that valet parking means you can get to the bar quicker :partyman:

As I said before, any of you folks heading over (or down) to Dublin then give us a shout and we'll organise a mini-reunion :drinkers:

Thanks to Roland and Shimmy for a great few days away, the 'Driver' had to show the owner of the CSL (Geoff aka Leins) and his boyfriend Bart how to drive but they spent enough time on petrol stops groping each other. I had a blast and was the best road trip ever, pity Leins was not as organised as he said he would be. As for key rings, last seen floating in the Irish Sea.

I also loved the tops and thanks to the man who organised them as made it handy putting names to faces.

Roll on the next epic adventure.

And as we 3 talked on our drive back home what a sound bunch you lot are on this site, down to earth and no bullshit.

Don't you start Toadie, 3 hours waiting in the airport and we had to put you in the back as your spot in the navigators seat was about as useful as tits on a bull, no go back holding hands :-D:partyman:
