How come you're allowed a CSL AND a MOTORBIKE!!! It's not FAIR!! :bigcry:
Lovely! I sat my DAS a couple of years ago but never did get a bike as E36 M3 was beginning to play up at the time and was 'advised' to just get a really nice car, don't bother with a Motorbike. 'Advisor' is a Nurse after all! :hahaha: Along came the CSL.
I love seeing them in the summer though, out in there packs horsing by me but I have to admit, since sitting my test, I never have a pop with them, there is just no point and its BLOODY scary on a bike having some clown in a car hovering all over your backside, as I'm sure you'll know.

i have about 6 bikes been since i was 14 there a real rush can't seem to give them up have tried a few times keep thinking im getting to old then you go for a blast and you giggle to yourself while doing 170 in a 60
only thing is the roads are so busy now it's difficult to have fun only go out on a weekday pm or evening no more sunday's or bank holiday too dangerous and pain is so much worse when your older.
done quick a few trackday, which are great especially in spain but the ring look's interesting you just cant cant make a mistake cause there's no run off :119:

oh and bike bating in a car is funny but they tend to get the hump as all bike rider's think car's dont stand a chance which just is,nt true they get a bit of a shock when they turn around and your still there :hahaha:

Does something happen in that vid? I skipped through looking for some action. (Good bit when the 911TT gets beaten by an Astra :banghead: )

Did you not think that vectra was a bit close to the bikes? Locking up to avoid hitting them??? I wouldn't want to be in there on my GSXR1000.
I think that Porsche owner realises that one of the bikers is going to fall off or be knocked off, and backs off...

Had 5 of my close mates take there toys out to the ring in 06 , poo weather , poured down all the way there , and was not much better when we arrived.
All top , trixced up bikes , Blade / R1 / ZX12 etc etc , all hardcore bikers.
They returned , from that weekend , and said they would never take again , too mental / dangerous with cars and bikes out on track at the same time , with all levels of skill mixed.
A chap did die on Sat AM mind on a bike and it was closed , for a couple of hours, and one of my guys had seen it all happen.
So just for you guys taking bikes , be careful its as Hammond says , potentially a widow maker :smt009

Yeah, i'd love to take a road bike on the Ring but only if it was solely open to bikers!

There is absolutely no way you'd get me on a bike round the 'Ring for any amount of money! Seen way too many nasty ones there. And I love bikes.
