Hi
Someone has hit my rear bumper from the side, its left a little scuff which will polish out.
BUT
The little metal clip that holds it to the wheel arch is snaped and the plastic clip on the inside looks like its given way
Took it ot the bodyshop near me (another SG CSL in there!), they said im looking at about £100 notes for repair (2.5 hours labour).
There is a gap of about 10mm on the damaged side between the bumper and rear quarter, on the good side there is a 5mm gap
They said they might not be able to get it flush (ie 5mm gap) all the way round though, not happy :banghead:

How much....seems alot just to fit a clip and re-aline.

Someone did that to me about 2.5 years ago - I've got a black scrape on the bumper and it is wonky. Who cares - doesn't change how it drives :D

Its 98% labour charges i think, they were saying in one breath that its quite flimsy in the way its held together, yet need 2.5 hours to take it off and on again?
Whats bugging me is its not straight after fixing, i'll know its there :(
Still drives like roadrunner on acid though lol

My rear bumper is the same.
The clip is pennies, maybe a couple of quid.
The problem may be like mine, and the lip on the bumper the clip attaches to is goosed.
I have a 10mm & a 5mm gap on mine, and it annoys the hell out of me!!!
I will be getting mine sorted in the next month or so.

Must be some good body shops out there who can do this properly , for a little less and not take the MICHAEL !

Yep actually it does feel a lot like that , when all four grip , go , no traction light and your propelled at force as the M team intended !!! lol

Flimsy :smt107 They miss understand the CSL philosophy....I think the words they were looking for is 'lightweight to aid performance'

Well it turns out my neighbour did it reversing off his drive, he owned up to it and is paying the cost to get it fixed. The guy at the bodyshop i spoke to this morning said they should be able to get ot flush with no sign of damage :)
You got to love the immense power when giving it the beans
