I spoke to my contact and he can do me these prices based on a bulk buy, 10 sets:
Fronts Michelin Pilot Sport Cups:
235 35 19
£207 per tyre
Rears Michelin Pilot Sport Cups:
265 30 19
£250 per tyre
So £914 for a complete set CSL sizes
No deals to be had on 18's, best he can do 4 265 35 18 = £998 and has 6 tyres in stock as I have just seen them with my own eyes.
Let me know if any of you are interest.

What is this you speak of Billy?
I ordered a full set of cups along with some other tyres from Camskill the other week and had them all within 7 days.
Never used them before but was pretty impressed with that, so much so I placed another order for 4 tyres for the S8 this morning.
You got me worried now!!

Basically Michelin have loads of 18 inch cups and can be delivered next day but the 19's are like gold dust at the moment.
Michelin are confirming with me the delivery dates on the 19's as they are all being made now. Shimmy's link at Michelin is on the case for us and Ill update later/tomorrow.
280 / 30 / 18 - I couldn't get a deal = £287.99 per tyre, in stock
Max: 265 / 35 / 18 £249.71 per tyre, in stock

UPDATE:
This has turned into a nightmare. Michelin have gone back on their word on the tyre prices and will not give me (us) a group discount as the previous prices. Frankie from ATS has also tried for us as they gave her the discounted prices. I was going to buy a couple of extras to make up the 10. So 40 tyres ordered in one go.
Tyre dates for cups from ATS are 24th May for front and 17th May for rears.
I told them that most will not order at these prices as they are the same as camskill.
Fronts 235 35 19 = £242.81
Rears 265 30 19 = £326.69
I'm not in the tyre game but i would say that they dont want these going out the door to cheap.
looks like im keeping my 18 inch rims and ordering 4 265 35 18 for 1k when really wanted to run square set up on the 19's on cups.

Those prices are now more expensive than from Camskill :(.

24th for fronts is too late, but I may take a set of rears. Most likely will not make trip on cups now the track day is cancelled.

BIG THANX for trying to put this together Billy :smt056

UPDATE:
Mike from Michelin kindly sent through the original order I placed.
So ATS have 12 fronts and 16 rears CUPS in stock in branch now..
Sadly the prices are non negotiable and the best is a £50 fuel voucher.
Frankie has to send these back to Michelin by the end of next week so if you do want any please call Frankie on 01223 454640 - mention CSL Register or me Billy.
I know Camskill are cheaper but these are the only CUPS in the UK at the moment thanks to Mike.

I hope Michelin understand how much face they have lost by doing this. I think they should be "sent to Coventry" on the Munich trip - nobody should talk to them and tell them to "do one" regarding the interview :blalalala:.
When they then whinge about it, saying "But you said you would", retaliate with, "And you said you would sort the tyres out for a good price :birdman:."
What comes around needs to go around ;).

Yes, Yes and Yes ! :) Michelin have shown themselves in a really poor light :banghead: petty & greedy all in one :clown: and actually lost sales as a result.
They had a guaranteed £10,000 in the bag from our 10 sets 'Group buy' and let it fall apart over £2K difference ... not to mention the bad press that'll follow :banghead: IMHO Major Fopaux :banghead:
Which Business school did they go to ? :)

This is tempting me to not come with my new cups but with other wheels.
Edit : the trackday won't happen anyhow
Edit2 : I always find it interesting how companies do not want to spend money for events. It annoys me. It seems that the only company spending money is RedBull !

No discount on cups, no TD.
What are they going to show in the road-story video ?
How well you can commute in Munich traffic with a CSL on cup tyres ?
EDIT : I am very tempted to come with one of my other cars.

In general, I am as serious as it gets.
I am very annoyed because I see an event that would be so amazing, but all the efforts are done by shimmy and the members of this community.
I fail to understand why BMW and Michelin did not help to make the trackday happen.
We are customers that spend so much money for these cars (and our other BMWs) and they do not want to please us.
I have mentioned a few times, that outside of the UK there is no warranty for our CSLs and when something breaks, we pay from our pocket.
I struggle to give more to BMW than I receive.
I see a perfect opportunity for BMW / Michelin for advertisement and us getting very little in return.
Last but not least, I am personally very annoyed with all the time-wasters that put up their names for the trackday and didn't honor their commitment.
I personally cancelled another event so as I can make the Salzburgring event.
I was planning to setup my suspension in Salzburgring, but this is not going to happen.
For me it's not so easy to attend a trackday since there is no racetrack in the country that I live.
At this point and while being very upset, I don't see why I should not come with my X5, or Z4 or Z3.

At the end of the day Alex, peoples lives are more important than doing a trackday at salzburgring and Im sure Shimmy is used to people letting him down, being in the industry he is in.
Shimmy has made a great effort to organise this, and at the end of the day its a club get together. BMW, Michelin etc etc joining in is at best a bonus, it was never a guarantee.
Im sure lots are disappointed, as are you, but just have fun and stop focusing on the negatives and what is not happening. It will be a hoot no matter what you guys all do.

As much as it pains me to do so ;), I have to agree with Alex on this occasion...
I'm not saying that you won't have a great time, but I feel Michelin have definitely let the side down.
They had an ideal opportunity to set something up so that the forum peeps could take advantage of bulk buying trade discounts - a win win for everyone concerned, but due to what can only be described as price fixing, has washed their hands of the situation.
