Much nicer Matt, than rusty bolt heads, I've got a box full somewhere left over from my Golf'ing days, put away in a safe place wherever that may be

I bought a set of chrome ones a while ago but they're mega long and need hacksawing shorter and not sure i can't be arsed when there's a VW dealer round the corner from me.
Black looks better, maybe...

Nut caps are extra weight.
Best option is to remove the rust with sandpaper and spray the original nuts.
I did a set 4 years ago and they are still holding good even though we have so much salt here ;)

My bolts aren't rusty (the opposite in fact) as I'm running newish extended length bolts with the H&R spacers all round, which are way too shine for my liking

Have bit the bullet and invested in a set for £9.99
Will post up some before and after pics.
If the consensus is poor, I will move them to my parts bin (it's smaller than Shimmy's)

I reckon chemi blacking is way to go if you want to keep your nuts looking good :119:

Looks like you have one missing - locking wheel knut? They have a black abs cap that's fits into and over the bolt head, OEM for that I'm afraid.

That's it, but what are you doing, shopping in the States? Import duty ouch!
Try a BMW Dealer or BMW Direct. The first one - just spotted, was distracted by the dot.com's

No, they are for deep head nuts, if memory serves me correctly, they are Beetle/Camper nut caps, about 18mm long and would need cutting down to reduce the amount of projection.

How many did you get for a fiver? I take all suppliers just do the plain black ones now rather than the older BMW logo ones.

Don't forget boys, if your going down this route you'll need a puller tool to get them off:
