So good driver in my grandads old a40 would give a csl with a shit driver a hard time !

If the difference in talent was big enough - yes! See above for the shit driver level ;).

As an example, you only have to go to the 'Ring to see Supercars being absolutely humiliated by locals in standard shit-boxes......

I know what your saying, back to my first post I was talking to a guy who had just watched touring cars and Porsche cup cars there and that's why I was curious about lap times, my csl is standard apart from ap's, as for my driving ability I can't afford to be that fast !

im not sure that is true.....I am willing to bet 83SY in a CSL would beat Maureen around Donny in a CUP car :)


To answer the original question...........a decent time around Donny National these days in CSL would be 1m20-22, a fair time 1m22+, a great time 1m19-1m20, and FANTASTIC times sub 1m19s, maybe possible to get sub 1m18s if you are GAYER

Why not take it to a track day and video your laps, you can then show your mate EXACTLY how fast / slow your car is ;).

I will do that, just investing in a gopro so will post on here when I've done a track day
