Did an oil change last weekend........

Was kind of surprised to see the state of the oil and filter considering it had an oil change with the last inspection 2 almost exactly 6000 miles ago. Dash still showing around 6600 miles to the oil service!!!! it stank of fuel too.
If that's the state of 6000 mile old oil imagine 12000 !
I bought enough castrol edge and another mahle filter from ECP to do another oil change so will count this oil change as an 'engine flush' considering how black it was......

Well I'm glad I bothered! reckon it was 50/50 fuel/oil judging by the stink !
Good job for ECP's latest parts25 code so 4L of edge is £30 at the mo :thumbs:

12000 miles is far too long on that engine, given the high revs an high oil temps they say.
