These days i'm in Greece due to some things i have to take care and to stay of course for the Easter Holidays. Now, a good friend of mine was invited to drive all the MINI Works in all their versions so i took the chance to visit and drive the cars. Here is some good photos. I think that i'm in love with the MINI Cooper S Coupe..!! I think that i will have to order one when i will return home....

Well i didn't look for the owner but a guy from MINI Hellas told me that this car belonged to a BMW Dealer, Korfiatis i think or something like this. He sold the car to a well known BMW enthusiast(??). We went with my friend's car and i saw this when we were leaving. Nice car, in great condition BUT the guy wasn't careful enough with the seats. Driver's only.

Should've sneaked a peak at the chassis number for Shimmy records.

Korfiatis is a friend ;)

Now I understood who has it. He has a collection of BMWs.
Shame that the car is not running cup tyres.

Yes, it made me great impression that the car is not running cup tyres. Who knows...maybe too dangerous for the Greek roads.

I just thought I'd point out that the car in the photos is NOT a Mini - hope this helps :hahaha: ;).

So the car you are in fact in love with, is actually a SG CSL :blalalala: ;).

I'm surprised you can't tell the difference to be honest .

No Mike, the car that i'm in love with is the CSL. I will always be in love with that car . Now in a way you're right because i didn't post any photos of the event. The MINI Coupe was really f***ing amazing. Very fast and had great turn in. I loved it..but no as much as the CSL. Here are some pics:

Even ELM's wont let us in mini's now, if you own a BMW loan car must be one too, I was looking forward to trying out a new mini while mine was in for work. :-D

I don't see where is the bad thing. My sister drives my 1M but hold on a sec..woman in 1M?? In Greece i saw a lot of guys driving a MINI in all versions. This is not a bad thing.
You forgot this: :gayfight: ;).
Mike you have to take it easy. At least in Greece there is no reputation as in other countries for the sexual choices of men :hahaha:.

That they are faster than BMWs ;)? Most of the (intelligent) Greeks / Swiss / Austrian's LOVE Cossies ;). You only have to see the cars on You Tube to see that - but we all know you like to live your life with blinkers on :blalalala:.

Why are you getting a csl then ? Maybe get a focus :)

Keep up - I already have the CSL (owned for over a month), along with several other cars (including the shonky old Cossie) - which shows I know what cars are good and am not blinkered into believing that one make is better than anything else :blalalala:.

You need to stop living in that bubble of yours - there is life beyond BMW ;).

Sorry missed that.
Did you get 400bhp or its happening next month ?

I don't think you know me enough to tell me that I live in a BMW bubble.
I also don't know what you constantly try to prove ?
Well done if you have a lot of cars and especially fast ones.

Jeremy Clarkson once said: M3 owners have no friends.. Well i have to admit that he was right..!! I have a great video from a Barthurst race which shows the humble Μ3 Ε30 N/A DTM keeping behind the far superior for the season Ford Sierra Coworth turbo.. Well.......:bigcry:

It's currently standard bar H&R's, Supersprint and APs. I've just bought a second set of wheels for it to fit Cups and then once the new engine has done some miles (where I will also dyno it to see what it actually has power wise), I will take it on track and see what all the fuss is about. At the moment, my initial impressions are that it is painfully slow (despite being able to hold it's own against an RS5) - the gearing is too tall in my opinion - but it has a noise to die for and it feels more special than the E90 V8 (probably due to the seats and feeling like you're driving a "race-car" as opposed to a family saloon) and the brakes have the typical BMW over-servoed feeling (and are nowhere near as good as the ones on the Escort ;)). The standard rear beam isn't particularly good (hard cornering makes the rear end feel loose), so it needs the Turner Motorsport rear bush limiter kit fitting (which came with the car, just not yet fitted).

I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm just responding to your constant inane attacks on my choice of track car (I suspect you just wish you were man enough to own one ;)). You seem to be under the misapprehension that because I like Cossies, I should only like Fords and not any other marque. I was just showing that I have a diverse love of cars which ranges from BMW to Subaru and isn't isolated to one marque (which you seem to feel is obligatory). I'd love to take you out on track in the Escort, just so you STFU about it :blalalala:.

Funny how they changed the rules to exclude the RS500 from being able to race, as in 1989 nearly every car on the grid was a Ford (despite it not being a one make series), because to compete, that was what you needed ;).

Ok Mike.
Remind me who started the comments that Minis are gay cars.
Also remind me who posted that shimmy is not cornering fast enough with his gay cup tyres.
You are free to own, drive, think what you like, so am I ;)
Thanks for the offer, but I am not going inside fords, they are too gay for my liking, hahaha

It's called friendly banter - where your comments "attempt" to belittle :birdman:.

Some would say you're scared that you might be "turned" :gayfight: ;).
