Hi there ,

There was a thread recently http://www.cslregister.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1128
where csljimmy had seen my strut brace and wanted one for his car, as did a few others.(mine is pictured at the bottom of the above thread)
Having done a bit of investigating , it would appear that F-carbon are no more :banghead:
Whilst trawling the net i found a company called" Wheel power" in calafornia.
They do a range of products called Radenergie, this company does what appears to be the exact same brace i have , but badged with their name not F carbon. http://www.wheelpower.com/outlet/pdf/RadCarbon.pdf

I contacted them , and asked them if were a quantity purchased, a sort of group buy if you like , what could they do them for, they normally rrp at $450.
This was the reply..............

Hi Nick:

Thank you for your e-mail.

We do have the Radenergie dry carbon strut brace "Racing" in stock. And we can offer you special price - $395.00 each ( min. 4 pcs )

As far as shipping, we will find the best way to ship them to UK. Are you looking for door to door service?

Waiting for your reply.

Many Thanks,

Grace

So basically if 4 of you want them, this may be an option, no idea what that price ( $395) translates to in sterling , exchange rate dependent obviously, and then shipping shared between 4 of you, but it may be an option.
Cheers Chaps.

Well im just lulling the wife into a false sense of security

Firstly the agreement of purchasing the CSL after the Evo was to go down to 2 cars and use it daily :bigcry:

I have since managed to completely go back on my word by ways of bribery and I know have given up my ST in exchange for a Clio :gayfight: but at least it keeps the miles off my baby :-D

A few posts on here showing my new found faith of being anti mod, should only help the cause

Then when spring comes hopefully she wont notice that it sits better, grips better sounds louder and brakes later

Quick update chaps, i got this e mail today from Grace @ Radenergie.......

Hi Nick:

Thank you for your e-mail. Since this is the export orders we will accept 3 pcs at this time.

Also let us know if we can assist you anything in the near future.

Once again Thank you for your business & support !!

Best Regards,

Grace

So basically if there are 3 of you (which it appears there is) that want one of these braces , that would be enough to secure the original pricing

(oh, by the way, i have no vested interest in these potential sales, and as such it is just me sharing my findings, just in case anyone thinks i have any personal gain in the offing)
Cheers, Nick

SOLD!!!

Does that mean you want one then ??? :hahaha:
Maybe a list should be started to avoid confusion, i guess i could ask Grace for a sort of item code so that if people pay her direct , then as long as they mention the code/password type thing , she will know to apply the special price, and it would prob make more sense to ship the lot together to one address in the uk, then for them to be set to the individuals from there.
What do you think peeps??

Sorry for my ignorance but as the CSL already has a strut brace what are the benefits of chamging...is it purely cosmetic or do they make a difference.

In reality, its purely Tart factor, the standard brace looks like something from B&Q's scrap bin, and alongside the carbon airbox the carbon brace just looks Rude  and is lighter too.

what about there carbon rocker covers?

Dave, they work out at about £200 + and then shipping, CA do a nice dry carbon one, which roy claims is flawless and doesnt/wont discolour with the heat etc.
They rrp at £190 and CA do 15% for CSL register members if i am not mistaken, so would work out cheaper to source from them.

Check this bad boy
