Made me smile:hahaha:
A friend of mine had his 360 CS (front) done by someone in Peterbourgh. I'll find out exactly who it was if you're interested? Not cheap, but job well done.

The mirror curvature does make it difficult for a single piece to be fitted.
buy a can of Plasti-Dip clear.
My stupid GTR has the horrid, misting up problem and its due to the glue between the lens and housing detaching. I used some clear Plasti-dip on the lens parimeter and its sealed. Stuff wicked, easy to use and cheap.
I Plasti-dipped the rear wing too (matt black) and save me a pretty penny in having it wrapped.

Shimmy, I've had mine redone 3 times and they still aren't right. I gave up with the fitters, it's still on, doing a job, but not the best fitting.
The shape does make it hard to do.

Wing mirrors don't take much punishment from stone chips, only corrosion, also easy to remove for respray so not worth it in my opinion.
Headlights, wings, front bumper, bonnet, front of roof and leading edge of rear arches definitely need doing to protect from stone chips.

You haven't seen my wing mirrors :)
I think this time around I wanna wrap the essentials as they are resprayed, as you say some areas worse than others but my wing mirrors are pretty stone chipped.
Got my spare bumper being sprayed and wrapped for next winter!

They look good.
I only got mirrors done whilst I was side sills, front bumper etc. Would not have bothered otherwise for it is not that expensive to repaint mirrors. And as I mentioned it is very difficult to get a single piece to cover the whole front.
heavy duty clingfilm for the May trip?
shimmy, why don't you just get a can of plasti dip spray for the trip Matt black or clear and when you get back home just rip the plasti dip off and everything will be like New? stuff it's really easy to handle and work with, even a diy idiot like me can do it. I done my csl rims last month and it was real easy.
go to YouTube and watch that guy fonzie on dipyourcar.com. stuffs clear coat safe.
