I once was in a contra flow on M1 and tried to accelerate and couldn't work out why the car was slowing more and more. I kep pressing the accelerator harder and harder and it got worse and worse, to the point I nearly had the car behind hit me........before I realised I was pressing the brake. :whistle:

Wife smacked me round the side of the head for scaring her! :(
